Italian Spaghetti and Meatballs
From a set of her traditional recipes that mom (grandma jinny) gave to paul & janet as a wedding present.
Ingredients:
1 can Tomatoes 1½ lb. Ground Beef
½ cup grated Parmesan Cheese 1 cup Bread Crumbs
2 cloves Garlic 1 tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Pepper 2 Eggs
1 Onion 1 can Tomato Paste
Method: Simmer canned Tomatoes and 3 cans Water in a sauce pan.
in a large bowl combine Ground Beef, grated Cheese, Bread Crumbs, 1 clove minced Garlic, Salt, Pepper, and Eggs. add ¾ cup Water a little at a time.
roll into balls. brown 1 chopped Onion and 1 clove minced Garlic in 3 Tbsp. olive Oil. brown meatballs.
add 1 can Tomato Paste and three cans Water to Tomatoes in pot. add Salt, Pepper and Sugar. cook until slightly thickened.
add meatballs. simmer 45 minutes.
serve over cooked spaghetti.
