Peanut Butter Blossoms
From a set of her traditional recipes that mom (grandma jinny) gave to paul & janet as a wedding present.
Setup: Preheat oven to 375°.

| 1¾ cups Flour | 1 tsp. Baking Soda |
| ½ tsp. Salt | ½ cup Shortening |
| ½ cup Peanut Butter | ½ cup Sugar |
| ½ cup Brown Sugar | 1 Egg |
| 1 tsp. Vanilla | 2 Tbsp. Milk |
| Hershey Kisses | |
Method: Sift together Flour, Baking Soda and Salt.
Cream together Shortening and Peanut Butter. gradually add Sugar and Brown Sugar.
add Egg, Vanilla and Milk.
blend in dry ingredients gradually.
for each Cookie roll about a tsp. of dough into a ball. roll in Sugar and place on greased Cookie sheet.
bake for 6 minutes. remove from oven and press in 1 hershey's kiss.
return to oven and bake 2-5 minutes.
