Greek Stew
Ingredients: |
3 lb. stew meat |
½ cup Butter |
2 ½ lb. Onions |
1 can Tomato Paste |
⅓ cup Red Wine |
1 clove Garlic |
2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar |
1 Bay Leaf |
1 cinnamon stick |
½ tsp. cloves |
¼ tsp. cinnamon |
¼ tsp. ground cumin |
2 Tbsp. Raisins |
1Tbsp. Red Wine Vinegar |
Method: Melt Butter in dutch oven.
add stew meat and cover with Butter until just warm.
don't brown.
lower heat.
add remaining ingredients.
cover.
simmer for three hours.
do not stir.
